转基因棉花在印度已走向末路

摘要: 印度是世界上第一大棉花生产国,也是第二大棉花出口国。转基因棉花在上世纪90年代引进印度,而孟山都从2002年开始推广商业种植。当时凭借声势浩大的广告宣传活动,包括邀请明星代言,转基因迅速占领了印度的棉花市场,时至今日,印度1180万公顷的棉田中有90%左右种的都是转基因。
