Evgeny #Prigozhin from the headquarters of the Southern Military District of the #Russian Armed Forces in Rostov-on-Don announced the control of the headquarters building by Russian volunteers from the #Wagner Group, as well as taking control of the airfield in order to prevent the take-off of combat aircraft, but this does not interfere with logistics and sanitary boards.
Update on the situation in Rostov - apparently the force that occupied the city center earlier is at least partially Wagner troops, as Prigozhin has appeared on the scene. The Russian government seems to have decided to negotiate for the time being.
Further north in Voronezh multiple trucks - allegedly Wagner - were destroyed by Russian helicopters along the highway, suggesting the Russian government is keen to keep things contained in Rostov.
The situation is very serious and could explode quite easily.
